🌼 Daisy Room – A Nurturing Start for Our Youngest Children
The Daisy Room is specially designed for our youngest children, aged 3 months to 18 months, offering a warm, nurturing environment with a maximum of 6 children per session, cared for by two dedicated educators.
We understand how important the early months are in a child’s life, and we are committed to giving your baby the very best start. The Daisy Room is thoughtfully set up to reflect the comforts of home, supporting each child’s individual routines, sleep needs, and feeding patterns in a calm and caring atmosphere.
Our babies enjoy flexible, age-appropriate activities that are both stimulating and safe, encouraging early exploration through play. Using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as our guiding framework, we tailor each day’s experiences around your child’s unique interests, learning styles, and developmental stage.
Each child has their own Learning Journal, a beautiful record of their milestones, observations, and achievements. These journals follow them throughout their nursery journey and are sent home each term, inviting parents to celebrate their child’s progress and share insights from home.
Creative exploration is a big part of our day – your child will enjoy engaging in sensory and messy play, from hand painting and rolling cars through paint, to exploring textures like jelly, gloop, pasta, and natural materials. These experiences help develop early motor skills and introduce them to the joy of discovery.
Outdoor play is also an essential part of our routine. Babies are encouraged to develop their gross motor skills with activities like sliding, rocking, and using push-along toys, all within a safe and secure outdoor space.
At the end of each session, there will be a warm handover where you can connect with a member of our team. You’ll also receive your child’s Daily Sheet or Daybook, which details their feeding times, nappy changes, sleep patterns, and highlights of their day.
The Daisy Room is a place where your baby will be cherished, encouraged, and gently supported as they take their first steps into the world.
🌻 Sunflower Room (18 Months – 2.5 Years)
The Sunflower Room is designed for curious, active toddlers aged approximately 18 months to 2.5 years. With space for up to 16 children per session, this room provides a vibrant and nurturing environment where children can explore, grow, and begin building independence.
Our experienced team creates a safe and engaging space filled with a wide variety of fun, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate activities. Each day includes a balance of planned learning opportunities and child-led play, giving children the freedom to explore their interests at their own pace, with gentle guidance and encouragement from our skilled educators.
Children take part in short, focused group times, which introduce early concepts of sharing, turn-taking, and listening. These sessions often include singing, musical instruments, and story time, helping to develop language and social skills in a fun and supportive setting.
We tailor our weekly plans to reflect the individual interests and needs of the children, ensuring every child feels seen, heard, and engaged. As part of our focus on early independence, children are encouraged to:
- Put on their own hats and coats
- Recognise their personal belongings (like their cup)
- Begin self-serving at mealtimes
These small but important routines help foster self-confidence and independence in everyday tasks.
At the end of each session, you’ll have the opportunity to chat with a member of our team and hear about your child’s day. For those who wish, we also provide a Daily Sheet, which includes details about your child’s meals, sleep, nappy changes, and the activities they enjoyed most.
The Sunflower Room is a warm, welcoming space where toddlers are supported as they begin to discover the world around them—through play, connection, and joyful learning.
🌸 Cherry Tree Room (2½ – 3 Years)
Welcome to the Cherry Tree Room — a bright, nurturing, and imaginative environment designed for children aged 2½ to 3 years. With space for up to 12 children, this room is a hub of creativity, curiosity, and exploration.
💡 Learning Through Play
In the Cherry Tree Room, we provide a wide selection of stimulating toys and resources that support every child’s development. Our ever-changing home corner transforms into exciting themed areas such as a kitchen, hair salon, or construction site. If your child shows a particular interest, we adapt the space to reflect it—supporting child-led learning at every opportunity.
🎨 Creativity & Sensory Exploration
We offer daily opportunities for creative play, including:
- Painting, drawing, chalking, and sticking
- Mark-making with pens, pencils, and crayons
- Messy play with gloop, play dough, water, sand, Weetabix, and more
These activities are not only fun—they help children build fine motor skills, express themselves, and grow in confidence.
💬 Daily Communication
We know how important it is for parents to feel connected to their child’s day. At the end of each session, our team will share a verbal handover with you. If preferred, you can also receive a daily information sheet that includes:
- What your child ate
- Sleep/rest times
- Nappy changes
- Activities they enjoyed
- Developmental milestones observed
We aim to ensure a strong partnership with parents, keeping you informed and involved every step of the way.

Our outdoor space is thoughtfully designed to support physical development, creativity, confidence, and wellbeing. Whether it’s running, climbing, painting, or relaxing by the pond, children are encouraged to follow their interests and enjoy the natural world around them.

🌳 Willow Tree Room (3 – 5 Years)
Age Range: 3–5 years | Capacity: 32 children
Our Willow Tree Room is a dynamic and supportive space where children flourish as confident, capable learners. Designed for children aged 3 to 5 years, this room prepares them for the exciting transition to school while nurturing their independence, creativity, and social development.

As preschoolers grow, so do their abilities. In the Willow Tree Room, children are encouraged to:

- Cut their own fruit at snack times

🔁 End-of-Day Communication
At pickup, you’ll receive a verbal update from our team about your child’s day. You’ll also receive regular written reports detailing your child’s development, learning progress, and special moments.
